Should we display more than simply a dark green box and "Show Correct Answer" for questions that have been marked with a correct answer?
Currently there are there are 3 colors used to show answers to a question:

  1. Very light green - No answers added
  2. Medium green - Answers have been added but none marked as "correct"
  3. Dark green - A correct answer has been identified
So from the views should we add some other UI element that shows the users that a correct answer has been identified?

I like the shadings but they might be too subtle for new users.

I'd say that you should probably better highlight the questions that have been answered so that if you're looking at the view as a whole they stand out a little more.

Either color or an icon to denatote answered questions.  I would suggest people are either looking for an answer to their own question or to answer a question that is unanaswered.  So it is important to clearly identify those questions without answers.  One of the drawbacks of the Notes Discussion Forums is that seeing one answer (I.e. response) would often lead to the conclusion it might be answered.
