How to add multiple controls to a custom control facet?

I am trying to create an Outline custom control into which I can place any number of outline entries. I have figured out how to add an Editable Area (facet) to the outline custom control. Now I can add a panel to the facet and the place multiple outline entry custom controls in the panel. Is there a way to eliminate the step of having to add a panel first? i.e.Define the facet to act as a container and accept any number of controls?

It's something I spent quite a lot of time trying to do as well and I had no luck either I'm afraid. If someone has any tips on how to implement then we'd all be happy to know them.

Same here, the only way I saw to do it was to add some sort of container control...
