Has someone used Lotus Traveler 8.5 had issues, installed fixpacks to get it to work and then upgraded to 8.5.1 Traveler?
We rolled Traveler 8.5 out to our sales force this summer as a cost saving measure. Testing worked fine, pilot group worked fine, for over a month but then when we got into the bulk of the users the server either couldn't handle the load or it was just bad code or both... we needed 3 or 4 fixpacks, some of them very recently created to get it going fine. (some of them made it into the recommended Traveler fixpacks after installing).
Anyhow...after this not so great experience we are a bit hesitant to upgrade the server to 8.5.1 - anybody had experiences with that? Any pitfalls? Anything particular we should be aware of?

I've upgraded my 'home' server to v8.5.1 and have had no issues with Domino or Traveler, which I use on my Windows mobile device. I've also assisted a friend with two other upgrades. They had a few issues with Traveler 8.5.0.1 but so far 8.5.1 seems to have solved that.
I'd say it's save to upgrade to v8.5.1 and I'd do it sooner than later.

We are a small Domino development shop. We had Traveler 8.5 installed, then implemented the fix pack, then upgraded to 8.5.1.
I know have a mix of staff successfully using MS, Nokia and iPhones to access. All working very well.
