How do you set the Lotus Traveler email profile on the IPhone to not require SSL? 
When I click on the email profile in the Settings/Mail,Contacts,Calendars page, the IPhone just "freezes" for about 60 seconds and then kicks me back to the home page.  The Notes Traveler documentation says that the IPhone will default to an SSL connection but don't have one on my Domino server so we need to go non-SSL.

Sounds like its crashing to me.  If you have it setup with non SSL the iPhone will fail on SSL and then prompt you if you want to access without SSL
 
Typically on an iPhone if it goes back to the home screen that means its bombed
