I guess your running Windows Vista or Windows 7. The DCT setup is trying to deploy files to the lotus program directory and is being denied by the OS because your don't have the correct rights.

Try starting up the notes client by right clicking on it and selecting the 'run as administrator' option and then startup DCT, let it deploy the files and then exist notes as instructed.� When you restart notes and start DCT it will be able to figure out that it has deployed the files and then you can start using DCT normally.

Answer: ID Vault seems to be working and collecting ID's. Now to see if it was collected due to the fact that I changed the name to user.id or was it from the re-certification process.

DAOS is server independant.� Each server has its own data store for the .NLO files.� So basically cluster replication happens "as normal".� Message with attachment replicates, then DAOS kicks in and attachment is stripped.� Not all servers need to run DAOS.� A non-DAOS server can operate just dandy with a DAOS server.

Exception is in 851.

because the attachments are "read only" and filename is based on checksum value, they are going to be the same on DAOSified servers.� In cluster servers on 851 (using DAOS) the servers check to see if the filename exists already on the cluster mate.� If it is there, the attachment is not replicated.�

We are a small Domino development shop. We had Traveler 8.5 installed, then implemented the fix pack, then upgraded to 8.5.1.

I know have a mix of staff successfully using MS, Nokia and iPhones�to access. All working very well.

I've upgraded my 'home' server to v8.5.1 and have had no issues with Domino or Traveler, which I use on my Windows mobile device. I've also assisted a friend with two other upgrades. They had a few issues with Traveler 8.5.0.1 but so far 8.5.1 seems to have solved that.

I'd say it's save to upgrade to v8.5.1 and I'd do it sooner than later.�

My bad - rather than checking 'To' for @ and . you need to check 'All Recipients' - I've just tested it out here and it works quite nicely. Your rule should look like this:

When sender contains nobounce
AND�any Recipient�contains @
AND�any Recipient�contains .

Hmm. That makes it a bit trickier. I don't think there's a setting for that, but here's something you can try - haven't tried it myself so I don't know if it will work or not:

First up, set the user forward rule return path to construct non-deliverable return addresses - if you're running 8.5, you can do this via the configuration document (the field is just below the one that disables mail rule forwarding). If you're pre-8.5, then you need to set the following parameter in the notes.ini:

RouterUserRuleForwardReversePath=3

What that does is prepends the outgoing e-mail address with 'nobounce' (so, in your example, it'd be nobouncedocternotes@acme.com).

Next, create a mail rule in your configuration document. If you have designated servers that deal with all internet e-mail, the rule should only need to be created�on those servers. Set the criteria to:

When sender contains nobounce
AND To contains @
AND To contains .

That *should* limit the rule to messages sent to internet addresses via a mail forwarding rule - although you'd have to make sure your users were using the Notes�address rather than the internet e-mail address in their rules.�You can then set the action to 'Do Not Deliver' and either silently delete the message or send an NDR.

I'm sure there's probably a hole in my logic somewhere (and I'd like to think I've missed an easier way to do this) but I think this should sort you out.
