Author: Dave Schryvers
Answer:
Thx for the responses guys.

Disabling the real time scan wasn't a solution for me. I disabled all the Officescan (Trend Micro) services on the server.

Greetz,
Dave

Author: Andy Donaldson
Answer: If you're running something like Symantec, make sure that you disable the real time protection on your Domino data folders as that might be locking the files. I've seen that happen with my servers.

Author: Peter Presnell
Answer:
I have seen this error a LOT since upgrading to 8.5.0. It seems to be triggered more by the Notes 8.5.0 client than the server. For some reason the Notes client does not release a lock on the database after it is closed.

e.g. I can create a database, open it, close it, and then try to delete it and I am quite likely to get the message. The Admin console will confirm that nobody has the database open.

My suggestion would be to upgrade to Notes 8.5.1. I'm not sure a server upgrade is needed based upon my suspicions it is a Notes 8.5.0 bug.

re: Which version of Domino support Domino Configuration Tuner?

Author: Stephan H. Wissel
Answer: While officially only R7.x ++ are cited as supported, you can - if you know what you are doing - run DCT against an R6.x server. You just need to -manually- make sure you don't follow a recommendation that isn't applicable for R6.x. Anyhow: best upgrade first :-)
