Will I be able to run Sametime on the same server as Domino 8.5.1?

With Domino 7.0.x I could run Domino and Sametime (chat only) on the same server. I've seen posts that suggest it doesn't work, today. Will I be able to do that with Domino 8.5.1 in the future? If so, when? And, with what Sametime release?

Has someone used Lotus Traveler 8.5 had issues, installed fixpacks to get it to work and then upgraded to 8.5.1 Traveler?

We rolled Traveler 8.5 out to our sales force this summer as a cost saving measure. Testing worked fine, pilot group worked fine, for over a month but then when we got into the bulk of the users the server either couldn't handle the load or it was just bad …
